Projects and project API keys

Your Business ID identifies your business. Create a project for each integration or product; every project has its own project ID and independent API key.

Public API requests use the Business ID in X-Business-Id and the project's API key in the authorization header. The key is shown once when the project is created. Store it securely on your server; never put it in a website, mobile app, public repository or chat.

Use the project readiness check and a safe ping to verify authentication before enabling collections or payouts. Revoke or rotate an individual project's key if it is exposed; other projects use separate keys.
